6 Listen, this is what the Lord of Armies says. Once again, in a little while, I myself will shake the heavens and the earth, the seas and the dry land. 7 I will shake all the nations, and the desired of all the nations will come,[a] and I will fill this house with glory, says the Lord of Armies. 8 The silver is mine and the gold is mine, declares the Lord of Armies.

- Haggai 2:7 The title Desire of Nations has traditionally been understood as a title of Christ, the one desired by the nations, but the Hebrew verb come is plural, so this passage must refer to the people of the nations whom God desires to come to Christ with their gifts.
